| Roulette Cheaters |

|
Trying to cheat the casino is sometimes as tempting to many players as playing the game itself is. Players try to cheat at all of the games including roulette. The most common form of cheating at roulette is called Post-posting. This can involve one or more players at the table. The croupier tries to keep his eyes on the layout as much as possible.
Post-posting involves the placing or removal of chips from the layout after the allotted time for betting. The method is basically one of late bets. The cheaters usually work in teams where one player removes or adds chips to his accomplices pile on the layout when the result of the spin of the wheel is known. This is a practice that is difficult for the dealer to spot especially with people reaching across the bingo games table.
The dealer sometimes sees nothing but arms over the layout and isn’t sure what has transpired with the chips on the layout. If the dealer suspects foul play, he will call security to rerun the tapes of the action at the table and to focus in on the table. The security staff will catch any change in chips on the layout.
If the casino is in Las Vegas and they suspect any foul play, they will contact the Gaming Control, which has an Enforcement Division. The casino gambling Control officers will arrest the suspect and the casino security tapes will be used as evidence in the trial. Cheaters cost the casino money and they usually try to prosecute to the fullest extent of the law. |
